Teaching a Child With Autism

You can create a peaceful school setting with fewer distractions. You can do a special diet easier when you are home. Your child has a higher chance of staying well during the winter months. Many kids have issues breathing chemicals like Lysol and other products. This will not be a problem when they learn at home. You can choose your own breaks and work around your child’s sensory needs. In my blog, I will be going into detail about the steps you need to take to set everything up for your classroom.

If you are not interested in homeschooling, you may need activities for your child to do. I will be sharing many ideas so that there will have plenty to do.

My best advice is not to compare your child to a typical child. Instead of thinking about a grade level, think about unit studies that have been completed. This will take a lot of pressure off yourself, and you will be thinking about what your child can do.
